    Hi,
    1 – I have received a .MOV video clip:
    Video: 1920×1080 (1,00), 30fps, No Compression,
    Audio: 48,000kHz/16bitU/Stereo
    Duration: 4’45”
    Total size 4.93Go.
This clip was output from FinalCut with the Prores422 codec
2 – I Have done some compositing and color correction in After Effects.
3 – I have rendered the Final Comp with this setting:
    Quicktime Format
    Animation Codec (Spacial Quality=100)
    1920×1080 (1,00), 30fps
    Duration: 4’45”
Total size 46.20Go (it seems to be a huge file for me)
4 – I have tried to compress for the web with QT and Sorenson squeeze, to have a H264, MP4 file (640×360). But every time the audio is offset in some part of the clip. I have played this huge clip in AE, all is good, there is no audio offset.

Is there an issue to help me.

    Why not ? Pourquoi pas?
    Win Vista Ultimate SP1
    Ppro CS4
    AE CS4
    QTpro 7.6.5

I had a similar issue with audio sync issues when transcoding files from FinalCut, and it ended up being related to the variable frame rate output by FinalCut. Check it with the program MediaInfo to verify that might be the issue. I fixed it by exporting the file with a constant frame rate by washing it in QuickTime, then using MainConcept h264 / aac to encode it. Not ideal, but I don’t have Final Cut and was given that file to fix. Try getting it out of Final Cut with a constant frame rate.
