There is way to much “BS” talk about the AG-HVX200 looks!

I don’t care if it looked like my shoe with a lens on it.

All that is important is the quality of it’s performance. Nothing else!

If it’s ugly, who cares. I’m not going to Sleep with AG-HVX200. Marry it or even take to a Romantic dinner in Paris.

I will use this tool like I use a wrench. To achieve what task I am faced with.

    It’s a tool that is a camera………..Not a Chick.

Hi Michael: Maybe you have that impression only because you’ve been spending too much time on the “wrong” (non-COW) forums? 😉

Unfortunately, now that you’ve raised the topic here, it may get debated here, too. 🙁

Not by me. >cough< However, your post does raise the question: Will airline security let you on the plane with a shoe with a lens on it? 😀 All the best, - Peter Just a friendly reminder to all: Please consider filling-in your COW user profile information so we have a better idea who you are, where you're from, and so forth. But Ergonomics are important “I thought the iris dial was over here..” And often, beauty and ergonomics merge into the same thing. Remember the Hi8 Cannon A1-Digital Michael?

Speaking of ergonomics, where will you put your wearable hard drive; belt, backpack, sling, holster???

Where would have Kiki Stockhamer put her wearable hard drive???

My design team built and I have designed a prototype carrage that goes on top of a Z1U/FX1. Like a film magazine on a Panavision. It looks kinda like how this recorder is on top of a

Ah, Kiki. Bless her pointed little, er, um, head! NAB just isn’t the same without her, you know what I mean? But, hey, what do I know: I’m not _at_ NAB this year, is she?

As for where and how many HDDs Kiki would wear: Anywhere she wants, however often she wants. 8)

Speaking of what the AG-HVX200 looks: Does it remind you a little of the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine, but in a good way? Kinda like the sub is in dry dock with a coat of gray undercoat paint? 😉

And now back to our regularly scheduled industry tradeshow …

The most available flat spot on this type of gear is the bottom. A waffer shaped housing can bolt to the tripod socket and in turn have a tripod socket on itself. It wouldn’t block any other controls there either. The Kiki Stockhamer model on the otherhand would be a definate crime to alter in anyway shape or form! There’s no flat bottom there! Come to think of it you’d be hard pressed to find a flat spot anywhere on that model!

Actually Kiki IS at NAB! She was doing her thing in the NewTek booth today, just like old times! She was giving the speil about some new product… Telecaster, streamcaster…..?? Anyway, she’s still got it!

Cool! Glad to hear Kiki has still got “it”!

(I’ve got her autograph somewhere around here …)

And, so, exactly where _is_ Kiki wearing her wearable harddisk drives/iPods? 😉

Photos? Specs? No, no, don’t go there, this is a family forum. 🙂

Glad to hear she’s still around! A google search turned up a lot of links where she speaks for herself in the interviews. There’s some great photos too! I have fond memories of her and found her to be very courteous and knowledgable when seeking info on the trinity system. Wish I were there, I’d say hello!
