    Please forgive, I know it may not be a proper use of the Final Cut Forum but I got to ask this question and I trust you guys;
    If you only had money for one: Blue Ray Player or Apple TV

    Blu Ray.

    But what’s up with the bible reference? Maybe your question should be what would Jesus buy?

    I would go with a AppleTV over blue ray, but I would go with a mac mini over an AppleTV. You can do so much more, Hulu Desktop, EyeTV Recording, etc etc.

    I’m hoping this comes true.

    The question is do you want to just download movies or watch physical disc. For about $15/month I can get about 16 bluray or SD DVDs from Netfilx, nothing comes close to that in the download world. Netflix even has instant watch movies and TV shows, just cannot bet what you get for the price.

    Funny thing is I buy iTunes music way more that physical CDs (and I normally buy full albums) and never buy/rent movies from iTunes, I only buy/rent physical BD/DVD. I have bought a few TV shows (3) over the past year.

    Thanks for your answers, I have Panasonic BD player sitting out in my car, I was going to return it to Wally World and order Apple TV. Now I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

    Blu-ray with netflix streaming capabilities….all the way….the Apple TV may one day have netflix streaming as well, and hopefully DVR capabilities in the future but not today.

    Today, Blu-ray with streaming is the better buy. And the PS3 ($299) is the best blu-ray player out there because they update their firmware much more frequently to add new features than any set top boxes.

    And netflix streaming is coming soon to the Playstation 3, it only does everything!
