I am editing narration and the waveform in the timeline and in the viewer display a waveform when there is actually silence and display silence when there is audio. I re imported the sound file, but no difference. cleared waveform cache and restarted, shut down. all the trouble started when i used the maintnace automatior script, which i got from apple website. i repaired permission and cleared cache.
    Any ideas what’s going on?
Of course it has to happen 2 days before dead line.

    thanks
