Waveform in multicam?
Posted by Brian Sarfatty on October 17, 2012 at 3:53 pmAm I missing something, or in CS6 when you have a multicam clip, you can’t view audio waveforms in the timeline?

October 17, 2012 at 4:31 pmThe multicam clip on the the timline is really a nested sequence….which because it’s contents can be dynamic (changed on the fly) doesn’t generate waveform profiles.
If this is HUGE to you…you could export the audio only from that timeline and lay it back in in sync.
that way you’d see the waveform….
that’s my best guess….

October 17, 2012 at 4:35 pmYeah, nested clips don’t pass through the waveform – as far as I can tell. So if you need them, you can just nest the video portion of the timeline and then work with the multicam viewer that way. Or output a master version of the audio and import it back into the nested timeline.
