waveform disappears can’t get it back
Hi all, been around a long time but have not posted much on this forum. Just moved from discreet to fcp a few months back and have an issue with disappearing waveforms. In the sequence, the wave forms were there, then recorded a VO and brought the file into the sequence and all of the waveforms disappeared to be replaced with “x”. I read thru some of the archives and I tried quitting and restarting, then I tried deleting the waveform cache files and re-opening. Nothing seems to work. This is not a case of “zooming” in to see if the audio was recorded low. I really need the waveforms to edit to, this is really frustrating…. can anyone give me some help? Quickly? Thanks in advance!
