    Hi there,

When are we going to see the Wave’s cursor implemented?

I’m guessing you will use the gain joyball to move it around. Shame there’s not a dedicated ball. (You could have had 4 joyballs on the wave and it’s width would have been about the size of a 24 inch monitor.)

Anyway the point of this post is to get the Wave to a position where you don’t need the viewer open on the color screen. Everything is done by looking at the main display, that’s how I like it. Then you’re not seeing colors from 2 different displays (and their 10 frame offset) and there’s more screen room for your nodes and stills.

I am enjoying the Wave and think it’s great for people who can’t afford the DaVinci panels but think this new functionality will really improve the device.

    Thanks,

    Tim

The cursor button does have a great use currently..not exactly what you are hoping for but the tips may help!

If you click cursor on when using the wave and click on the viewer it will work as the color picker.

I use it quite a bit as I find it is the quickest way to turn the color picker on.

Another handy function is if you click cursor on and off it will turn off the window overlay which saves even more time.

    G13 🙂
Map mouse to mini joystick, you will love it.
Also because you can map all the important features like disable node and loop and stuff to the G13 and leave the Wave in the most useful Primary menu
