    Hey Everyone,

I’m attempting to sync some MXF video files with their WAV counterparts in Premiere CC. I’m having extraordinary difficulty, because Premiere seems to be interpreting the timecode strangely. For instance, the same file imported into Premiere and Final Cut Pro has different in/out timecodes – even slightly different durations.

    Example File Media Start TC:
    PREMIERE CC – 15:56:53:17089
    FCP7 – 15:55:56:00

Can anyone tell me why Premiere is interpreting the timecode differently? I read somewhere that SMPTE timecode can’t be read by Premiere – is this true of CC?

Thanks so much in advance to anyone that can help me out!

    Hey Andrew,

I’m having the same issue with the latest version of CC. I exported one WAV file from a P2 AVC Intra 100 clip and got a slightly different start TC, but when I dropped it back into the P2 sequence it synced up fine — weird.

A colleague exported a second WAV file from a P2 clip in CC and it didn’t sync up — PP CC seems to cut off the first part of the audio. Did you ever get answers on this?

    Thanks,

    Burk
