Water ripples around a moving/still object?
I was wondering if anybody had a simple method for creating surface ripples around an object–say, a figure–moving around in water and stopping on occasion. The ripple shader will create ripples around a particle upon impact, but I was hoping for a similar method for an object in the water, interacting with the surface as it moves through it, and sometimes stands still with the water lapping against it.
