So I am trying to create a graphic for a presentation where water droplets fall onto the screen and their ripples create circles which have text in them. These circles will vary in size and placement on screen. I am mostly an editor will a little after-effects/motion knowledge but it sounds pretty simple. Any thoughts?

    Solid circles or outlines?

Do they continue to grow in size or do they stop at a certain diameter?

Does the text grow with the circle?

Does the text distort at all within the circle?

Animation can be easy or hard, depending on what you want to achieve, your level of knowledge, having the right tools, and, most importantly, being able to break it down into simple discrete animations that combine into complex ones.

It doesn’t sound simple to me at all. Try making just one of these objects first, then you can duplicate it & modify them as needed.
