This seems silly, but why since I updated PP, does Encoder open and load all the clips when I drag new clips into the PP project panel? I’d like to turn this off, I think it is trying to do some auto ingest procedure…

Check your project settings that you don’t have any ingest settings on.

Looks like I did have copy files on under copy media–thank you. I am still finding things since the update, and I figured it was something simple.
