    Hello,

I was wondering if someone can help me with this washed-out, vintage look I’m trying so hard to achieve and unfortunately have no luck. Here is the best example:

I just recently tried color grading in after effects so it’s alright if I don’t achieve the exact look, but well, hopefully I can create something closer to it with someone’s help.

Thank you very much in advance, any help would be appreciated.

Use Hue/Saturation to take the saturation down a bit. Then Levels to clip the black and white output. A few lens flares flashes on the cuts applied outside the frame with a pink and/or yellow-orange hue can add to the effect (Knoll Lens Flare or Optical Flares).
