Warranty shopping
folks,
fixing to pull the trigger on an EX1R purchase. Have heard enough about tricky little issues to make me think an extended warranty might not be a bad thing.
anyone have experience using
a.) Sony’s warranty
b.) the “SageMax” protection plan/warranty offered by B&H?horror stories AND accolades would be appreciated.

I bought the Sony warranty (3 year) through B&H, it was included in their Sony accessory bundle along with the wide angle adapter, SBAC-US10 USB reader, and a 16GB card. Got one for our EX1 and EX3. Haven’t needed them so far, the only problems I’ve had with the cameras so far is the kids breaking stuff on ’em.
