Activity Forums Canon Cameras Warping Effect in footage

I’m working on a project where the footage was digitized using the Log and Transfer tool. The original footage was (Canon) AVCHD, and we converted to Apple Pro Res 422. From time to time, there are 3 to 5 frames where the image appears to be “warping”. It’s as if a 3D warping effect has been applied with random parameters.

Is this a normal issue? The client is checking their original footage, and that of course will tell us a a lot, but is this also an issue of the transcoding process?
