I’m running the older version 8 of Media 100i on a Mac G4 machine using OS 10.1.5 and I am in need of the driver for my Keyspan USA-28 to achieve machine control of my Betacan deck. I know this is all pretty old stuff but I am a cinematographer and only use this to create my own sample reels, which is very simpple editing and I don’t want to spend $$$ upgrading this system to something more current. I have apparently lost the original driver disc that came with the Keyspan device. The machine control from my deck terminates in a male mini Din 8-pin plug. The USA-28 unit has 2 female Din recepticles to a USB plug. If anyone has this or knows where I can get the appropriate driver I shall greatly appreciate it. I have already talked with Keyspan and it is all too old for them to currently support.

    Hi John,

The drivers for your model are available on the keyspan website

    https://www.keyspan.com/downloads/

However OSX 10.1.5 isn’t listed as supported so that might be why Keyspan told you it was too old. You can use OS10.2.8 with your set up if that is the problem, updating to 8.1.1 which is free.

    Hope that helps

    K
