want to convert matrox MJPEG avi to best quality as they wont import
has anyone else had problems with matrox digisuite avis on a computer without a digisuite card?
Have been given some matrox Mjpeg avi files edited from DV footage that will not import into Premiere 1.5
1. loaded all matrox codecs from the matrox site.
2. have converted them to open DML with https://www.davisr.com/cgi-bin/content/products/mtxodml.htm
3. am now converting them to other AVIs in virtualDUB https://www.virtualdub.org/download
I’m used to working with uncompressed AVIs of short animations but these are too long so I now need to pick a codec that doesn’t lose any quality.
What would you recommend? I have a megaCodec pack and can get any.
