    1) CC Ball Action for the bank of lights. Decrease the default Grid Size and Ball Size as needed. CC Ball Action = Instant Jumbotron.

    2) For brighter brights see Andrew’s tut here, for 32 bit comps and the way he crushes all but the whites in a duplicate layer:

    if you are using video in the ‘light wall,’ applying posterize prior to ball action to limit the number of colors may be helpful (those displays usually have a limited number of colors). posterize time could also be useful to mimic a lower frame rate. and glow could be useful if you didn’t want to go the 32 bit per channel route.

    Thanks, Kevin! I am planning on using video in the “light wall” and while I haven’t had a chance to get back to that project specifically, I was thinking that i needed to do exactly what your input suggested…the limited color palette.
