VST and VST 3 Plugins
Hi Everybody,
while most of my Apps (Audition, Ableton Live) recognize all my VST Files
without a problem, FCPX only recognizes some of them.
For example the ZOOM H6 Mid-Side Decoder works in all my other Softwares,
but does not show up in X.Any idea why?

FCP X doesn’t actually work with VST plug-ins. Only Audio Unit plug-ins. Many plug-ins install both VST and Audio Unit versions. So the ones that work are doing that. Some of your plug-ins may be VST only which means they won’t show up in FCP X.

Thanx for the fast reply.
I was afraid of exactly that: Only recognizes AU Plugs.
Unfortunately, the ZOOM H6 Mid_side Mic Decoder Plugin only comes as VST.Nothing to do about it, I guess.
But I found a plug in inside FCPX, that does kind of the same thing.

What is the name of the AU Plugin in FCPX that decodes MS audio?
