    Hello
Recently my Media 100 System is having more and more problems playing back video. I thought it was a memory problem but upgraded to 6 gigs and im still getting “real time errors occurred where ther are no items to render.” I have a 2×2.66 ghz dual core intel processor. I am using the DVCPro HD codec with has a data rate of 100mbps. Any thoughts? Also what is the highest version of quicktime I can run with this version of media 100. OSX?

    Thanks

Are you using any I/O hardware?

Try setting the video output to none, does this resolve the error?

Besides a hardware conflict or board placement problem (which Matt is referring to) it also could be that your media drive is very full or fragmented.. This usually also can result in lower drive speeds and therefore to realtime playback problems. Have you checked your media drive with Apple DiskUtilty lately?

    Hi Matt,

I am using a HDe interface. I have over 50 gigs available on each drive. I have run disk warrior on all dives. It just kind of started happening. A little worried.

    Thanks,

    Joshua

Did you try toggling your video output setting to none in media 100 as I suggested?

    Matt,

I set ouput to none and still there are problems. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

Are you sure your media is DVCPro? Check your bin in list view.
