VR 6PACK : render with spherical camera?
Hey!
So I’ve been able to set up ‘6pack’ in the 3D environment of AE (which is essentially just a cube with a 360 environment plastered on each of the 6 planes of the cube). Is there any way I can either:
1. render that cube with a ‘spherical’ camera (or a camera whose lens has a 360 degree field of view)?
OR:
2. warp those 6 images in a mathematically predictable way…especially taking alpha channels into consideration? like, this could be done in a somewhat crude way with re:vision’s uv plugin, but I specifically want to avoid using non-stock-ae plugs.
3. I’m sure someone out there has hacked this in a third way?
