I need some understanding of the workflow when you have several clips on a timeline and you have to apply Bezier Masking with Automated Tracking in VP 16.

Scenario 1 = Only one masked object in a clip to be tracked
Scenario 2 = Two faces or objects in a clip to be tracked.

If I was just working with a single clip on a track, it would be easy to just duplicate the tracks twice and apply the Bezier Masks and Pixelate FX to each clip on its own track.

What do you do if you need to apply both FX to say clip 5 on the track? Does that clip have to be copied itself and placed on a new track so that the cursor can start at the beginning when you apply the tracking? I’ve tried doing this by just duplicating the whole track and applying the FX from the beginning of the clip. But the FX doesn’t know to stop at the end of the clip and keeps going down the timeline of clips.

If any of this makes sense to someone, Please let me know what the proper workflow should be.

    Thx

    Jay

[Jay Mitchell] “If any of this makes sense to someone, “

Well, hello stranger! How are you? And yes, I’ve read what you said and I’m currently applying some of my feeble brain cells to it.

To get some more, focussed, feedback, ask this over on the main MAGIX VegasPro site.

Good to hear from you though. ????
