Vp12 odd behaviour
Here is a strange one. A project I had been working on in VP12 was saved. I had reason to change the boot drive of my computer, which I did with a clean install of Win 7 and its updates, and all associated drivers including the Nvidia driver(which is the same as I had previously… there being no changes.) Then I installed VP12, build 394 and related plug-ins. No other programs are loaded– just Windows and Vegas.
At first all seemed OK, but now it loads the project I was working on but says media is off line. However, a mouse click anywhere in the interface loads the missing files. Just a mouse click. VP didn’t ask for directions to the “missing” media when initially loading. Everything appeared on the interface and timeline but without images, and “Media off line” in the timeline event holders.

Windows 7 Pro64, 16GB RAM, SSD boot drive, GTX 570 Graphics, Vegas Pro 11 and VP10 just in case

“Media Offline” sometimes happens when the media is on a network device. It’s not usually a problem as when you click on it, it reconnects.

Yes, I am aware of that but in this case it is on the same machine on another drive. And just to add another thing… I accidentally closed the project media window, and when I reselected it from the view menu.. crash! And so I tried it again… and crash! Rebooted and restarted and seems OK. GPU was not switched on during all this.
