Activity Forums VEGAS Pro VP12 Event Pan/Crop Interferes During Playback

While trying to edit clips and then playing them back in Vegas Pro 12 I keep encountering an odd event. After running the EP/C function and leaving the window open, if I click the timeline and play the video, the EP/C window flashes and VP12 makes the EP/C window the active one, not the timeline. Any help?

[Axikal Fiervind] “After running the EP/C function and leaving the window open, if I click the timeline and play the video, the EP/C window flashes and VP12 makes the EP/C window the active one, not the timeline.”

I can’t reproduce this behavior. It doesn’t flash for me or get in the way of playback so something is not right with your computer. Do you have a Window Manager installed on your PC and did you tell it to emulate X-Windows behavior where windows gain focus simply by moving the mouse over them?

I suggest you simply dock the Pan/Crop window or close it when not using it until you an figure out what it is that’s causing the focus to change.
