Voronoi Fracture
Hi! I am trying to simulate a plant growing, and slowly breaking through soil.
I feel like a way to do it is with Vornoi Fracture, however custom gravity means the floor either sinks, or the fragments floats away.I need the cylinder in the attached to slowly push through the floor and then the fragments just stay in place. Maybe VF is not suitable after all?
Any help super appreciated! Thank you

Hi James,
I disabled the self collisions and used another flat cylinder to keep the fragments from falling and softened the impact so it looks like the plant is pushing the soil particles as in the video recording below, by making the particles smaller and slowing down the movement you can get a more realistic effect, I hope this is what you are looking for.
