Im tryin to make a movie and i need to know if i can edit like over exaggerated vomit in after effects. I dont think i really have the money to get materials to make it so i can shoot it live. I searched the forum and failed to find another post asking this, so any help would be good even if its maybe some advice for a cheap immitation.

    Hi there,
i don’t know if this is of any help, but i had to do vomit once for a cartoon series. I had to do it in After FX, so i used Mr. Mercury which is a plugin used to simulate some kind of fluids. more metaball looking like. If you fiddle around with it you can get some decent result. Try playing with speed and gravity stuff and maybe use this as a mask/displace for your video.

    cheers, steve.

Frankly, a few cans of pea soup and a piece of hosepipe are A LOT cheaper (both price and time-wise) than a particle plugin like Particular, and you’ll gross your audience out a lot more if the vomit is believable.
