VOLUMETRIC LIGHT
How do I set up a simple VOLUMETRIC LIGHT effect with a light positioned behind a block of text and shining through
the text from behind? Know what I mean? -

Add a spotlight to your scene and check the volumetric box in the light’s “general” tab.

i did what you sad, and activate the caustics in te render settings, and nothing happens.
Do i need to do something else?

you want the Visible Light setting in the light’s General tab not the Volume Caustics
