    Volume Control gone from external speakers???

    I moved my G4 the other day to a different room and in the process unplugged my speakers.

    Now that I plugged them back in, the volume can no longer be adjusted by the speakers themselves. Now I have to use the on screen volume to adjust the sound.

    Can anyone tell me how I revert the volume control back to the speakers?

    Is there a second input on the speakers and you plugged into the wrong one?

    Yes, but all the wires are connected correctly, just like before.
