Voki Avatar – Adobe Shockwave and Sony Vegas
There is a website called voki.com that allows you to build an avatar and then add text to speech so that the avatar ‘talks’, moves, etc…
I would like to use this as a character in a movie within Sony Vegas 9.
All that Voki allows is for you to embed the avatar into Facebook, Myspace, etc… and the company also supplies you with a link that looks like this (just a piece of the entire link):

Is there any way to turn this talking avatar into something that can be imported into Sony Vegas and used on the timeline as a video?

I know of a way to save any video that my computer plays that has worked for me in the past. Any video, pic,ect. is stored in your temporary internet folder. Find that folder and delete everything in it, it may take a while. Then watch your Avatar video, then look in the folder and the largest file should be your video in flash format. Then convert it to avi with a video converting program. There’s alot of free ones out there.
Also theres a free toolbar called Freecorder that allows you to record all audio and video I believe played on your computer. here’s the free download link for that.
