HI there..I am using Adobe Preimere Pro 1.5 to edit on a pc. I am trying to do voiceovers with a junk dell microphone. I would like to buy something that is alot better but having a hard time finding one that doesn’t require a XLR jack..Is there anything out there that will plug into a regular mic jack in the back of a pc or do I have to buy something for the pc to accept the XLR input?

Best thing is to get a good mic* and get a XLR to mini adapter, for the short run you are going to be using a xlr cable is overkill, only thing is do you have a sound chamber to make the voiceover from? it will eliminate external noise like computer fans, etc

I bought a little preamp with a XLR input jack that also has a Phono jack output. That solved two problems.

I picked up a blue microphone snowball a USB microphone adobe audition 2 recognises it and I guess although I don’t use it with premiere pro it should work as well.

It is nic to work with built in pop filter hi quality
