Voiceover
I’m recording a voiceover on the timeline, Premiere creats a visible audio track but it has no sound. I was able to record my voice with the XP Sound Recorder. Why doesn’t Premiere record??
I did the following –
a. Added a Mono audio track – Audio 2
b. Selected Audio 2 and positioned the CTI over it
c. Opened the Audio Mixer,
d. Clicked the Mic. icon over Audio 2
e. Clicked the Record button
f. Clicked the Play button
g. Recordeed sound
Premiere created an audio clip without sound. -

1. Make sure that your DV deck is not hooked in.
