  Voiceover recording error

  I’m attempting to record VO directly to the timeline in PPro 7.2.0 on OS X 10.8.5

  I have followed the instructions in the manual to properly set up my audio input (I can see levels on the mixer), arm a track for recording, and press “Record” then “Play” on the sequence.

  Trouble is, instead of beginning the recording, pressing play (or hitting spacebar) simply turns off the flashing record dot. The CTI doesn’t move, and no recording takes place.

  I’ve tried a bunch of times, made new timelines (with an without i/o points), new mono tracks, restarted, and trashed preferences, to no avail.

  Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
