VOICE OVER TOOL
When will this be fixed properly? I’ve emailed Blackmagic support and no answer. I was told that when I bought the MB Extreme, that the support @ Blackmagic had improved, and that was one of many reasons why I chose its products over Aja’s.
Right now, I don’t see any improvement in support.

Can you let us know which email address or help desk option did you select in the support webform as we have not received anything regard issues with voice over tool.
Unfortunately, the implmentation of vo recording is just like how Apple has done when. If you refer to pg 924 of the Final Cut Pro pdf manual, it says:
If you select a DV camcorder as your recording device and External Video is enabled in the View menu, a message appears saying that you cannot record using DV audio. Before you can record, choose View > External Video > Off.
