Voice Over not recording properly (sample provided)

Classic USB is generally not fast enough for anything approaching real-time, including quality audio. Try other ports on your Mac. Firewire for digital (there are external converters like MOTU if needed), or even the the analog line input is usually better.

Have you tried recording with just the Zoom as an USB mic?
