    Hi guys

    Can anybody help me for voice over in fcp

    have a G5 dual & a DSR 11 recorder

    want to do a voice over

    How do i connect & with what mic?? will the normal
    Pc Mic work???

    I run any professional microphone into a Mackie 1202 Mixer and then run the “Tape Output” from the Mackie into the DSR-11 Audio Inputs.

    I suppose you could plug in a PC Style mic or any mic with a mini pin connector to the Mac, launch FCP and engage the VO Tool. That should feed the audio directly out to your DSR-11 via Firewire. If not simply record the VO in FCP and then roll it out to tape.

    Obviously, the better the mic and room, the better the sound.
