    Howdy folks,

just wondering if anyone can help with a little issue.

My Dad has given me home DVDs to convert into video files – normally I can just copy over the .vob files and convert using Adobe Media Encoder, but with these files I’m getting a double image (a-la a 3d channel on a normal tv).

Having read into it, I’m seeing that it could be because the DVDs have been recorded in some sort of “long play” fashion.

Is there a way to have the one image, or should I just be stretching in edit – surely that will degrade quality though?

    Thanks for your help
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Haven’t run into that before. Maybe try MPEG StreamClip or HandBrake software to convert (both free).

    Thanks

Hi Jeff – Handbrake seems to have sorted that – thank you
