  • VMS: interpreting video footage to simulate 3:2 pulldown look

In VMS is it possible to interpret 30fps video footage in a fashion that will make it appear to have the 3:2 cine>video look?

    Thanks.

Pulldown is the process of converting 30fps to 24fps. If you drop a 30fps video into a 24fps project, Vegas will add the pulldown on the fly. There is nothing you have to do special. If you just want the 24p look when rendered then render your 30fps project using a 24p template.
