  Vixia HF10 vs Canon GL1

  I work for a camp that has used Vixia HF10 camcorders for the last couple years, but I found out that they have a Canon GL1 that still works.

  I usually film skateboarding before I got a job producing videos at camp and I was under the impression that mini dv camcorders were better than Hard Drive for fast motion sports, which is a lot of what I’m filming here.

  Which video camera would you use? Would you use a certain camera for certain things? Is the Vixia better because its High Def?
