  Vista XP and P2 drivers

  Being a brand new owner of a HPX170, Im on a very steep learning curve with P2. I have a P2 to Express card adapter from Amtron and finally got the driver to install, but now I get a message saying
  “device cannot start” (code 10) and the card does not show up. Im also confused because the P2 driver manual say that only Windows 2000, XP pro and Vista Business are compatible. How valid is this requirement ? Im running Home Premium on my laptop, which, due to it’s express slot, will be the first stop in file transfer to my
  Dell Studio XPS NLE workstation. I have a Dell desktop with XP Pro I can use if necessary….
