    Hi there!
A couple of weeks ago I burned out a project – no bother – which now needs some changes made to it, but there is now a strange glitch at the start of the sequence. I have ten video tracks to open with, with video tracks laid on shapes in composite mode luma. The thing is none of them – from track 3 upwards – are visible in the canvas at playback. All tracks are turned on – and further down the project similar elements in luma mode on the same ‘problem’ tracks playback fine, it is only the first 20secs that are causing the problem. When I double click on one of these “invisible” clips they show up correctly in the viewer, but they have that dulled out look of “turned off” tracks in the timeline. I can re-cut easily enough but I don’t like not knowing…. Any ideas??
Thanks in advance -this is one great forum!

Select one of the dulled out tracks, and see if clip enable is checked under the Modify menu, or control-click on the clip to see if clip enable is checked in the contextual menu.
