My wife has an iMac that runs 10.6.2.

She is convinced that a virus has gotten into her machine. She is experiencing problems with Entourage mail. Our business has several other macs which are used for video editing. My recollection was that some antivirus software caused problems by not playing nice with other software. What software do you guys recommend detect and/or clean out viruses

    Best,

    Jay

I’ll tell you this. It’s NOT a virus.

I don’t use Entourage but everyone I know that does has had problems with it. Try rebuilding the Entourage database i heat those can corrupt and cuss problems.

I am very sorry I let her “update” her Entourage (Office 2008) software last year. First thing that happened was it disappeared her email archive and addresses. It has been buggy ever since. Now we are getting a “Database Daemon Fatal Error.” Do you know how to rebuild the database?
