Has anyone tried Virtual PC? I’ve heard varied reports. I want to run Adobe Premiere on it, because I’m on a Mac but my boss is on a PC. I don’t have enough money right now for a MacBook with Intel chip (although I may have enough for a Mac Mini with Intel chip, but would like to try out Virtual PC first).

If it makes a difference, and it probably does, I have an iMac G4 with 850Mhz processor and 775MB of RAM + or -. I have plenty of hard drive space.

    Thanks,

    Josh

Sorry, Virtual PC is only useful for things like Word or web browsing. Anything that needs actual computer power is going to grind your computer to a halt.

That’s why everyone was so excited about ‘Parallels’ and ‘Boot Camp’ on the Intel Macs. It’s because before now Virtual PC was all we had and it doesn’t work very well at all for anything that has anything to do with graphics or video.
