While I was rendering out a 90 minute project it stopped with an error message about Virtual Memory Running Low. Where do I change the settingsfor Vegas Pro 9.0c. Most of my projects will be over 60 minutes in length.

System: Dual Xeon E5440@2833MHz, 8 core, 2GB memory.

    Thanks.

If your virtual memory is running low, there are two things you can change:

    1) the virtual memory (otherwise known as the pagefile) in Windows by right-clicking on “my computer”, selecting the “advanced” tab, clicking “settings” in the “performance options”, clicking the “advanced” tab there, and then the “change” button under “virtual memory”.

    2) In Vegas you can change the amount of memory you use for the dynamic ram preview. Apparently from what people have posted in other threads, decreasing this appears to also speed up video rendering times. Not sure why though…

    Hope this helps!
