Interesting idea. Impossibly slow to load. Site recommends Google Chrome, but I found it no faster than Firefox. Seems designed for strobe/still shooters. “Soft box” way too small. Very much in beta form.

I had the same experience. I do hope whoever is behind it, improves the interactivity.
Imagine a tool in which one can do an entire location layout online before hand to cut down on experimentation during the shoot.

Well, it is for ME: I used to buy a lot of issues of COMPUTER ARTS and DIGIT Magazine, and each issue came with a CD or DVD-ROM full of trial and freeware apps, including a free version of Poser before DAZ took over.

If you want really free using a CGI app, Blender might work.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

I can’t imagine this actually working. Too many variables. The cam’s sensitivity and settings. How wide the shot. The saturation of the subject’s face. Any ambient light. The color of the walls and floor. The distance from the subject to b.g. Any reflective surfaces. The type of lamps.

I suppose as a learning tool to understand how adding different lights will effect an image. But very limited value.
