  • Virtual KEM? Editing sequence into another sequence without laying in a nest?

PP CC has new option to edit a sequence into another sequence (great if you create a reel of clips to skim through and select and edit)

It should work as advertised, but when i turn the feature on (upper left hand corner of timeline) it will lay the audio in, but it creates a SLUG where the video should go.

Anyone encounter this…am i doing it wrong …missing something? is this a bug? Thanks

OK – solved my own problem – turns out I’d put a slug on the KEM sequence on Video track two to use for a time code burn…..and you must specify which video track you want to insert into the new sequence…..as Emily Latella used to say “never mind”
