I set the FPS to 10, added a dark sepia tint, noise, and a lighting effects effect with the default spotlight set to a low intensity and a high radius. This gave me an effect I was pretty happy with. Mess around with the settings and you might find something that suits your needs. Also, if you have Photoshop CS3 or even Windows Movie Maker they might have filters that are more useful for your needs.

It has a fabulous old film simulator that can add shake, hairs, dirt, contrast issues, bad tracking, etc.

It is, in a word, amazing. Long render time, but worth it!

Plus, the chroma keyer (combined with simple choker) are some of the best “out of the box” keying solutions Ive ever seen.

thank you all ill give al;l of these a look at very closely, i made a short video clip to try it out a bit ago but it ended up just looking to dark but it was nice for the shot.

if none of the programs or plug ins work i might make or look for stop graphics of dirt, hair and just key frame in.

I was also looking into using the one color thing but the color i would want is to close to skin color so i might use a animated mask. the color was pink to white. flowers im reediting my wedding video for my wife to make just a short over dramatized look but old fashion. the only problem is i cant go shout new footage lol… but i think i have enough to work with and if i get stuck i can always cut to something “cute” or “meaningful childhood clips” so she wont know. lol.

After using Cinelook/Film Damage for a few years I can’t
imagine going back to the manual method(s) of creatively
ageing video. You may have trouble getting hold of Film
Damage, though, because it’s a relatively old plugin (9 years
or so).

This should sort you out.

If you want/need to save the tutorial on your computer for
future reference, then download the latest version of
RealPlayer first… RealPlayer, by default, will now
always ask whether you would like to ‘Download This Video?’
for any kind of streaming video (YouTube, Quicktime, Flash,
etc.) from the internet, nowadays.

Finally, an example of Cinelook/Film Damage is when I
used it to touch up a little film we made (on camcorder
in B/W) at university to do with Bergman’s ‘The Seventh
Seal’. Cine/Film’s flickers, dust and colour correction have
been applied subtly.

Ah, but Flash is suddenly the future again. What
Adobe are doing with Flash On and having it support
1080p H.264 is amazing. Who would have thought it?
A 1080p movie playing inside a Flash player. Just
a shame that Adobe have made such a pig’s ear of
Premiere Pro and Audition… 🙁

yeah, i always hated exporting in flash for video that was good, it is surprising that for a while it seems like they have been merging 3-10 programs into 1.

i think the web has is to fault, but hey im not complaining.

i just hope my computer can run the program when they just make one big program called adobe One or something putting flash, director, premier, photoshop, combustion, illustrator, and dreamweaver all in one massive program that cost 1.2 children lol. (.2 = small dog or baby) lol.

ether that or you will have 30 programs that do the same thing but have different outputs lol… and maybe 1-2 differences specialized to that. oh i loved your golf input in the blemish removal tutorial lmao
