I’m trying to convert a video I downloaded from Vimeo (legally…via download link on the page) to an MOV in MPEG Streamclip. So far trying a bunch of different compressions I have had no luck. I get audio but no picture… just a white screen. I’ve tried DVCProHD, XDCam, ProRes etc… none have worked. It seems the original file is encoded with H264. I’ve also tried compressing in Quicktime and had no luck.

    Can anyone help?

Have you checked to see if you can play the mp4 in Quicktime?

Did anyone figure this out? I’m having the exact same problem now. I can open the movie in QT but i cannot convert it through any of the usual methods. Anyone know an answer? I should add I also tried Compressor but that didn’t seem to work either.
