    hello. when shooting, i want to go back and watch clips just shot. however, im having probs rewinding the tape and viewing without screwing up the time code. is there a way to do this? i tried the blank search and it screwed up the time code as well. 🙁 thanks in advance.

    Always start recording a few seconds early and keep recording a few seconds past cut. That way you can review the tape and then cue up to the end of the last shot(before it ends) thereby not breaking timecode.

    but Noah, how do u cue up to the end of the recorded timecode?

    By visually looking at what’s on the tape and stopping playback before you reach the end of the last thing recorded. If you leave a little extra at the end of every take this is easy to do without recording over something you want.

    bummer, i thought there was a more automatic way to do this, but your’ right, thats not hard to do it that way. thanks noah.
