    Hi Everyone,

Follow thought/question: If I have to watch tons of footage, in which I do also have to understand the content, watching in Real Time takes ages.
Now, when I watch tutorials e.g. in QT 7, I can set the speed of playback to 1,5x which still keeps everything totally understandable, but cuts the time by 30%.
If I use JKL keys in FCPX, it doubles the speed, which is fine for visuals, but in case I need to understand content, it’s slightly too fast.
Any way, to get X to playback at 1,5x regular speed – or something in that area?

If not, it definitely should be build into the next version.
Also something I REALLY miss in FCPX!!!!: If you set in & outs, and you mess it up for whatever reason, in FCP7 you could get those in&outs back by undo.
Not so in X. Would be great if you could.

    Thanx.

You can drop the footage into a project on the primary storyline and re-time it to 150% with ripple enabled.

Simple, but effective, yes. Good one. And then match frame to source clip so you can Favourite the part.
What you mean by “with Ripple”?
