viewing images on timeline?

Thanks you both for the input – I did control/shift/i and control/shift/w and now have text descriptions over my video images on the timeline.

FYI – I am using Vegas Pro 8 – not movie studio

Just for my interest, can you make a screenshot from your Vegas 8 Pro with the OPTIONS-PREFERENCES-tab VIDEO open and the timeline plus trackheader visible?

Vegas Pro 8.0a does not have that option either. He’s on Vegas Pro 8 with NO letter updates. So it would be recommended that he update to 8.0c. The option *may* have been added in 8.0c (I don’t know – don’t have it installed anywhere). It is NOT in Vegas Pro 8.1 either which was based on 8.0b. It’s definitely in 9.0, though.

OK, that could also be a good explanation for the confusing missing option. I can’t remember that I didn’t have this option in 8b. Probably I’m getting to old…
