Viewing HD footage on my old TV monitor looks squeezed or elongated.
I have two monitors to view video footage I shoot in HD with my
Sony HVR -Z7u. One is an old color TV and the other a Visio HD TV. In the past the HD footage would show up on my old monitor letter boxed, with a little bit of black on the top and bottom of the screen. Lately the HD video on my old monitor looks squeezed and it’s full screen. What changed! I do not want people viewing squeezed video on there old TVs.Thanks

This could be caused by a software or hardware setting. Describe your workflow, computer setup, software, how you get signal to your monitors, etc. Then folks will be able to help you out.
